Hey Everyone,

This is a story about when I realised that there are no coincidences in life, only opportunities to make a difference in someone else’s life… no matter how small.

Last week has been quite a challenging week and I’ve been struggling to maintain my state and staying present. It was absolutely frustrating.

So, on an impulse on Thursday I decided to take a walk in a nearby park I never go to.

When I got there and being in the presence of such beauty and grace I could not help but feel exhilarated. It was beautiful, fathers taking time off work to spend time with their wife and kids, couples snuggling, kids running around, it was truly magical.

In the midst of all this I noticed a cathedral which I have passed dozens of times but never once “seen”. It was magnificent! I didn’t know it’s name so I asked a lady sitting nearby.

When this lady looked back at me I saw a tremendous amount of sadness and pain in her eyes. “St. Mary’s Cathedral”, she said. She looked like she has fallen onto some really tough times. I asked if she was ok and she told me to leave her alone.

Now usually I would have left it at that, but not this time. I decided that I needed to do something that would make her feel better.

I ran into a nearby store and bought a single white rose and wrote this note. “It is going to be alright. God Bless.” In the midst of getting the rose and writing the note, I completely reconnected to my soul. I was in state and completely grateful for this opportunity; all because I decided to care for someone else.

I walked right up to her in the middle of the park and handed her my gift. For the first time since we’ve met, she looked at me and smiled. “Thank you”, she whispered.

I smiled back, told her to take care. And we parted ways.

Did I solve all her problems?? Probably not.

But I hope maybe she will realise that she has what it takes to get through her situation and there are some strangers out there who are more than willing to help her.

So my friends, we have all been gifted with such beautiful lives. It is only right that we share the wonder, beauty and love with as many people as possible. Remember, there are no coincidences, just opportunities.

Love to you all.

Live Strong.
